In a quest to bring an Edmonton Oilers game day staple to the attention of our new friends in Calgary – Gino and the Italian Centre Shop Calgary partnered with Calgary Flames Captain Mark Giordano and wife Lauren to raise awareness of school food programs led by EducationMatters.
BUY ONE, GIVE ONE PANINO WITH TEAM GIORDANO was hosted in-store on March 17 and April 27 and hungry Calgarians came out to satisfy their appetites with a signature Spinelli’s sandwich in support of hungry kids. The two-day promotion garnered a definite buzz via social media by loyal panino lovers from all walks of life including local media and business community at large but the highlight of the campaign was a memorable visit by Harvey the Hound.
