When the pandemic hit, Italian Centre Shop‘s Gino Marghella and BONAFIDE put our heads together about how we could tweak the Shop’s sponsorship with the Calgary Flames (which included in-arena assets no longer viable) to align with our existing efforts tackling food security.
The Flames’ collaborative nature led us to a holiday fundraiser with former team captain Mark Giordano and his wife Lauren to make sure families had Christmas dinner and a program focused on getting our favourite sandwiches into schools with hungry kids – Panini 4 Bambini!
