On April 27 at New York City’s Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers, North America’s most prominent culinary media gathered to celebrate 2018’s James Beard Media Awards. Hosted by award-winning journalist, Tamron Hall – over 500 were in attendance to toast the best storytellers of the year.
We were in attendance to cheer on our esteemed colleague Edmonton-based filmmaker Kevin Kossowan, who was nominated for Video Webcast, On-location for series, “From the Wild”. Kossowan and project collaborator Jeff Senger made the trek to the Big Apple to celebrate alongside fellow category nominees Andrew Knowlton (Working 24 Hours at…) and Miss Info (Food Grails).

Although “From the Wild” didn’t take home the award (congrats to Andrew Knowlton from Bon Appetit who did!) it was an incredibly inspiring evening and we hope the first of many honouring members of the BONAFIDE tribe.
