Our first visit to the maritimes didn’t not disappoint. In fact, we may have fallen madly in love with the people and culture…There truly isn’t anything like East coast hospitality.

STAY: We hung our hats at the Holman Grand Hotel – Charlottetown’s urban boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. The service was wonderful, location incredibly convenient for those who wish to shop and wander by foot. It’s also stumbling distance to the town’s best watering holes. Our room was incredibly spacious, clean and bright.

EAT: We spent most of our time eating at the PEI International Shellfish Festival but managed to stop into Hunters Ale House a couple times for VERY late night eats and drinks, The Pilot House for dinner, Hopyard Beer Bar for drinks, Ole Dublin Pub for live music. The most incredible meals we had were at the Blue Mussel Cafe in North Rustico. There are no words for how delicious and fresh the seafood was…An absolute must.

SEE: Cavendish Beach, Green Gables Heritage Place, North Rustico, Inn at Bay Fortune
